The Baltic Sea Offshore Wind Summit is a unique pan-European meeting point for the offshore wind community. Following the success of our first edition in 2025, the 2026 summit will again gather leaders from government, industry, finance and technology for two days of strategic discussions, fireside interviews and hands-on workshops.
This 2026 Summit will convene with the programme centred on five distinct but closely interconnected thematic priorities that drive the Baltic Sea wind industry forward:
Ensuring operational stability and protecting infrastructure.
Transmission infrastructure and grid development – key challenges related to energy transmission and grid integration.
Developing local supply chains and the economic importance of projects for regional development; promoting the idea of “local first”.
Skills development and attracting qualified professionals.
Project costs and implications for the energy transition – the role of offshore wind in the power system.
The event will be held at the European Solidarity Centre (ECS) in Gdańsk, a cultural institution commemorating the Solidarity movement and the fall of communism in Europe. The ECS is a fitting venue for open debates and collaboration towards a sustainable energy future.
The Baltic Sea Offshore Wind Summit 2025 in Gdańsk broght together key stakeholders from across the offshore wind industry, government institutions, financial organizations, research centers, and international partners. The event will feature a diverse representation of companies and institutions that play a pivotal role in shaping the future of offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea region.
